Here are some of our top tips for creating this shot

1
Good Quality Sparklers: You will need good quality sparklers or they won’t light in time and if they are not long enough, won’t last long enough for the photographs to be taken.
2
Best at Night: Wait for the night sky, I’m sure this is obvious but please add it to your timeline so it doesn’t disrupt your first dance or arrival of evening guests.
3
Dedicated Lighters: You will need a lighter per 2-4 guests. Do not let guests light others from their sparkler. You need the sparklers all alight together at the same time.
4
Let Everyone Know: Please let your venue, photographer and coordinator know you are planning this with lots of notice as it takes time to remove all of the packaging and get the sparklers ready.
5
30 Guests: We recommend only using 20-30 guests or it is hard to get everyone to light the sparklers at the same time which is needed. You will get a good enough effect with 30 guests.

6
Photographer: Get your photographer on board and find out if they have done this before. It makes such a difference where you take the pictures, plus how many staff are needed to help coordinate the guests.
7
One Person in charge: Make sure one person is in charge of the lighting countdown so that they are all lit at the same time
8
Enjoy the Moment: Make sure to enjoy every second, the walk and kiss for the perfect picture with your favourite friends.
9
Be Artistic : Create words or a heart for a wonderful extra photograph with the sparklers lighting.
10
Safety: Finally remember the safety aspect. They can be dangerous especially with long hair and floaty dresses.
Have a bucket of sand ready for the sparklers after as they are a fire hazard while hot.
