We know we should drink water, we know we should do this regularly and up to a certain amount but most of us don’t keep this front of mind day to day…

We are made of 60-70% water and without at least 2 litres a day you will feel thirsty.  Many of us think this feeling is hunger and therefore eat mindlessly when a drink of water would have done the trick.

I used to drink a small glass of water a day if I was being good, I also used to drink at least four cups of tea or coffee thinking this would help with my liquid intake.  In fact it does the opposite, not only does caffeine dehydrate you it also cuts the amount of iron your body digests.

So keeping this in mind can you challenge yourself to make this small change?
